Bumpy Road app good for
Prob one of the first in Canada to download this. Great physics and a good challenge makes this game suit a range of people from causal gamers to those who want to get a bit more from their games. I recommend it !
Cant say anymore. Great buy. Awesome art. Gameplay is fun and functional.
Ive only really played it for about 10 minutes and I think Im done with it. It doesnt compel me to beat my distance/high score in a way that Tiny Wings does for example. I find collecting the photos to fill out the little story is a good idea but it can be really frustrating trying to get them because the way you move your car around just isnt as controllable as Id like it to be. I find that I dont want my car to be anywhere but right in the center of the screen and if I have to push it forward or back for some reason it can get frustrating (because you will accidentally bounce the car when you dont want to etc...).
Anyway, its a very nice little game that at any other time is well worth the $2.99 but because app pricing is the way it is I would suggest you wait until its .99c
Getting the hang of this game takes about 15 minutes to get use to, but when you do the fun begins...the art style is amazing and this is just a cute fun game with no pretention to be anything else, enjoy
I really love this new game. The mechanics are different but still easy to pick up. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is because of the price. For the content this should be a 99c game
I think Bumpy Road is a good time consuming game, and unique in its own way. The only thing that I would recommend you wait until its price has dropped, because there isnt the amount of gameplay you think a $2.99 game would have, unless they come up with a new game mode, where the car doesnt move so slow? Other than that I think its a great game worthy of 5 stars.
Some bad moments
I bought this game because the visual appealed to me. The aesthetics are great - nice art, music, sounds. Fantastic. Where the game really under delivers is in the content. I can buy plants vs. zombies with over 50 playable levels for the cost of this game, which has 2 levels and some pictures to collect. Not to mention one of the levels is only about 2 mintues long. That leaves one playable level. Too much time spent on nice visual, not enough on producing good content. Game mechanics also boring. All you do is make your car jump. The bumpy part to speed up/slow down is not necessary to play the game well.
The game has a distinct visual style, and should be commended, but it isnt very fun to play. The concept is sound, but controlling the game with any sort of accuracy is an exercise in futility. Looking forward to this developers next effort.
Its beautifully created, but not really much of a game. I was hoping the graphics would match the gaming level.
The game is pretty much boring. The controling of the car is bad. But if you like calm games then you would like it.
Graphic is beautiful, but the game is boring. Not worth $2.99!!! :(
The game looks great and tapping to make a bump in the road is a fun idea - but it gets old quickly. You feel stuck on these endless levels and not much changes. Collecting gadgets and jumping over holes. Ho hum. Was hoping that the "love story" mentioned in would involve traveling across Europe or something a bit more entertaining.
